These bizarre images show what looks like the remains of a mermaid that were found washed up on a British beach.
Paul Jones was walking along Great Yarmouth beach when he came across the rotting humanoid body with what appears to be a tail.
Mr Jones captioned the photo: “Today at Great Yarmouth we found what looks like a dead Mermaid washed up on the beach.”

There is a lot of speculation from the public that the tail is just a bin bag and the body is a Halloween prop.
…looks pretty realistic though!
The gruesome photo shows the insides of the body rotting out with the tail relatively intact.
Other sceptics have claimed that it is likely to be a seal.
If you looks a little closer at Mr Jones’ Facebook though, he is a keen model maker of realistic and creepy figures and creatures.
He is also a member of the ‘Horror and Halloween DIY’ Facebook group.
Seems pretty fishy to me!
