A woman found and rescued a group of puppies that had been put into a plastic bag and dumped in some bushes.

First off, I’d just like to say that whatever person decided to abandon a group of puppies in a plastic bag, you’re horrible and heartless.

Secondly, I’d like to highly praise Susanna Bergamaschi, the woman who found and rescued them.

Watch the puppies’ journey here:

Susanna is an animal rescue volunteer, and was out walking in Norma, Italy when another walker drew her attention to the plastic bag in the bushes.

The three puppies were too young to even open their eyes, and were found shaking in the bag, no doubt terrified after being left behind.

According to the MailOnline, Susanna explained what happened:

I was out walking with a friend when I came across a dog walker who said he’d heard noises coming from a hedge, and indicated at the place where the noises were coming from.

We walked over and saw a plastic bag entangled in a fence.

The dog walker managed to untangle the bag and once we got it back to the road we opened it and saw the puppies inside!

I took them home and from here, their life will begin.

Susanna proved herself to be a wonderful human being, and immediately took the puppies into her care.

She took them home and fed them, allowing them to have the freedom of being happy, wandering puppies they clearly didn’t have before.

The footage shows the plastic bag being retrieved from the bushes, while the little dogs whimpered from inside.

The bag is opened and the three puppies immediately taken out and into the arms of those at the scene, who are no doubt expressing their surprise at the contents of the bag.

From there, the delightful footage turns into a montage of the the lucky rescued dogs growing and getting fluffier, being fed by a bottle, enjoying a comfortable looking dog bed, and basking in the sun.

They seem to truly be living the life man’s best friend should live.

The little dogs even seem to have been accepted by another dog at the residence, because the good boys and/or girls have to stick together.

That’s truly a perfect ending to the tail.

Way to go, Susanna!
