There really is a summer festival for everybody in the UK; from heavy metal music fanatics to spoken word poetry buffs.
And now pet lovers’ dreams are coming true with preparations underway for a dog festival at the breathtakingly gorgeous Elvaston Castle, Derbyshire this coming August.
This is a great opportunity to spend some quality time with your most loyal companion, ensuring they know just what a good boy or girl they are.
Organised by the Mucky Paws Company, this beautifully unique celebration of dogginess is open to doggos and their humans alike. Think of it as the world’s greatest walk in the park.
Aptly named the Dog Lovers Festival, attendees are promised a variety of entertainment, including interactive events and duck herding displays from the K9 Quackers.
There will also be some bonafide celebs in attendence. Britain’s Got Talent 2011 finalist Pippa Langhorne – who performed with her singing dog, Buddy – will be appearing as an honoured guest.
Remind yourself of Pippa and Buddy’s adorably talented duet routine below:

There will be copious amounts of food and drink. Human guests may try 20 varieties of Gin, Prosecco and Pimms, all while enjoying glorious green surroundings.
Shopaholics can enjoy more than 150 pop up shops and marquees to browse, as well as opportunities to join guided tours of the historic castle grounds.
Dogs will be having just as much fun as their humans as they soak up all the good summer vibes.
Your furry best friend will be in the lap of luxury as they enjoy massage therapy and even a pooch pamper parlour, as well as various ‘extra special treats’. Woof-ly stuff.
Behaviour therapists, pet first aid trainers, mobile canine technicians and food and dietary professionals will all be on hand to ensure this is a super special and memorable experience for four and two legged attendees alike.
There will also be handy advice in regards to rehabilitation and dog whispering, as well as expert speaker events in the on-site big top. A must for anyone interested in the long term welfare and happiness of their pet pal.
According to Mad Hatters Events:
There will be many more things you and your pooch can join in with during the day. Don’t forget to like our Facebook page to get regular updates.
Hope to see you and your best friends very soon!
