Jason Momoa has sent a brutal threat to two men who cut off a shark’s tail for fun, calling them out for being ‘evil’.

The men were working on an Icelandic fishing boat when a shark became tangled in one of their lines. Instead of releasing the animal, they instead decided to torture it before dropping it back into the water.

Filming themselves laughing, the men then hacked off the shark’s tail and watched as it attempted to swim away.

As reported by News.com.au, after releasing the shark into the water, the two fishermen turn the camera back to themselves to show how hilarious they are finding the whole thing.

They then turn their attention back to the severely injured animal, as a trail of blood streams into the ocean as the shark attempts to swim away.

As the shark struggles, the men can be heard shouting:

Good luck trying to swim, you punk!

The horrifying video has since gone viral, being shared on multiple social media platforms including on Facebook by Christel Ýr Johansen, who labelled the men as ‘sick losers’.

The distressing footage also caught the attention of Jason Momoa, who branded the men’s actions as ‘pure evil’.

Many of Momoa’s 12.3 million followers thanked him for using his platform to out these two men, with several describing the men’s actions as ‘cruel’ and ‘cowardly’.
