In news which will make you never want to swim outside ever again, a piranha-like fish that likes feasting on testicles has been spotted in several lakes.
The Pacu fish, which has human-like teeth, has been caught by a number of fishermen across Michigan, The Independent reports.
According to Michigan’s Department of Natural Resources, the fish has been released into the wild by members of the public after they grew to big for their aquariums. What nutters would do this!?
It clearly isn’t very humane doing this, something Nick Popoff, manager of the DNR’s Aquatic Species and Regulatory Affairs Unit, echoed in a statement.
Seriously though whiten this Pacus teeth and he will have a nicer grill than most of us pic.twitter.com/K2I31MibFk

He said:
Pets released from confined, artificial environments are poorly equipped to fend off predators and may be unable to successfully forage for food or find shelter. Those that do succeed in the wild can spread exotic diseases to native animals. In the worst-case scenario, released animals can thrive and reproduce, upsetting natural ecosystems to the degree that these former pets become invasive species.
The Pacu can grow up to 3ft and weigh 55lbs in the wild, which teeth so powerful that they can easily crunch through nuts, fruit and plants. Yikes!
Back in February there were fears that the Pacu could be heading to the UK, as they were also being kept as pets and were fears that, should they ever get too big for their tanks, they could be released into reservoirs, lakes, ponds, rivers and lagoons.
Apparently, these horrific fish bastards, which are also dubbed ‘The Nut Cracker’ and ‘The Ball-Cutter’, have also been found in other parts of the U.S, Denmark and Paris, so it appears no man’s testes are safe.

Great, yet another thing to be fucking terrified of in 2016.
