The Star One 18-year-old from Texas has committed suicide using his pet cobra.
Grant Thompson made the decision to end his life in July, and used the highly poisonous monocled cobra, who he let bite him repeatedly.
He was found dead in his SUV, and had a history of suicidal thoughts.
Grant worked in the family pet shop, and had a lifelong passion for exotic animals.

Animals were a passion of his.
When he was 4, he got his first big fish tank. We had an animal-themed birthday party. I had a zoo out in Austin bring in animals. From then, he was hooked.
The 51-year-old added that she didn’t know that her son – who lived alone in an apartment – owned the deadly cobra.
