You might remember last year when we introduced you to the now internet famous pit bull terrier aptly named Hulk.
He’s the largest pitbull in the world, weighing in at a staggering 12 stone. And now he’s had some puppies, it’s safe to say they have some incredibly large paws to fill.
His no-so-tiny pups are expected to reach a similar size when they grow up- making them excellent candidates to be trained as guard dogs.
Their owner Marlon Greenan is now putting Hulk’s puppies through their paces at a training school to become security dogs in New Hampshire and has predicted that they could be worth as much as $100,000 (£82,000) once they’ve completed the course.
In particular, Marlon is focusing his attentions on training Kobe, one of Hulk’s eight puppies.
Speaking to the Daily Mail, he said:
My reputation is built on how I breed and train my dogs. I’m looking for the next Hulk, the star of the future. And this dog is the star of the future. Hulk is the most famous dog that I have but I am always looking for the next big thing, so I’ve got to keep marching forward and I think we have something here.
If he sold all eight puppies, he believes he could fetch $500,000 (£409,000) once they’ve all been trained, but it seems he’s not intent in giving up Kobe in particular.
He went on to claim that he’s had multiple offers of $40,000 (£33,000) already for the eight-month-up pup, which shouldn’t really surprise us considering his business Dark Dynasty K9s supplies protection dogs to celebrities and billionaires as well as law enforcement around the world.
“To me Kobe is absolutely priceless, I have no intentions of selling him. I absolutely want to make him the superstar that I know he can be. Kobe as a fully-trained dog, I would easily get $100,000,” he added.
Well that’s my dream to own ones of these beauties well and truly over.
