To be fair I have never seen such a badass hawk in my life…he’s on a mission.
Animal photography enthusiast Clint Ralph turned to see the majestic jackal hawk marching towards him and his son in South Africa.
Ralph was with his son visiting Giant’s Castle in Kwa Zulu Natal when they were supposed to be photographing the bearded vulture and were gifted with this shot instead.
Ralph said he knew the internet would enjoy the photo because of the bird’s sass.
He said to the Metro:
I loved the images and the intensity of the bird however when I viewed the marching Buzzard I knew I had something unusual and seldom captured in one shot.
I loved the attitude and comedy of the shot, I knew it would capture the imagination of the public.
The jackal hawk, who never misses leg day, was charging towards a carcass to chase the ravens away.

Obviously suffering from some serious hanger, there was no stopping him…and in turn, there was no stopping the internet from photo-shopping the fuck out of him

He does look like he’s ready for battle…
