‘Is your cat making too much noise all the time? Is your cat constantly stomping around driving you crazy? Is your cat clawing at your furnitures? Think there’s no answer? You’re so stupid! There is! Kitten Mittons.’

Oh, it’s hats. Sorry. For a moment I thought real life had actually turned into It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia. One can hope. One can dream.

If your cat is constantly complaining about being too cold, sending you absolute daggers for not being able to keep up with the height of fashion, then Urban Outfitters has a solution for you. Hats for cats, stupid.

For £10 you can adorn your feline friend with the Rilakkuma Cat Cap, which comes in three varieties; brown bear, white bear, or yellow duck.

Although the downside is when ordering it’s a bit of a lucky dip, so you don’t get to pick, which could mean you’re looking at spending up to £30 on getting your kitty to complete the look you desire. Reckon the smart folk at Urban Outfitters knew this when they put them on the website. Sir Alan would be proud.

The product description explains:

Delight your kitty cat with this little Rilakkuma-inspired cap that fits right on their noggin as long as they can stand it, for maximised kitten cuteness.

What could be better than a cat in a hat? As a special surprise, we’ll pick out one of three assorted designs just for you!

Sod your cat’s comfort, the Gram’s more important than that. The likes are going to be pawing in (absolutely not sorry) when this hits your social.

Also, I don’t know if I’m being a bit tight, but I bought a human hat the other week and it couldn’t have cost more than a fiver. You could probably fit the heads of three cats into a human hat. Just a thought.

Further, what can be better than a cat in a hat? A cat in a business cat outfit.
