Eminem is considered as one of history’s greatest rap artists, and rightly so, what he has done for the genre can never be ignored. But the same sentiment goes for 2Pac, and an alleged letter Em wrote to Afeni Shakur proves this.
Eminem wrote the heartfelt letter to the mother of the late rapper, who was shot to death in 1996, and expressed his gratitude for her and his admiration for Pac.
The letter is reportedly on display at the Tupac Amaru Shakur Center for the Arts in Stone Mountain, Georgia, but has recently gone viral online.
“You are a true Queen. You have no idea how much your son and his music has inspired my whole career”, are just some of the sentiments written in the letter to Afeni, but if his words weren’t enough, he even added a hand-drawn picture of the rapper on the back.
We also have to point out that Em’s handwriting is pretty impeccable. Fair play.
