In Partnership with BrewDog
There’s nothing quite as satisfying as a cold pint when you’re on holiday and now BrewDog is offering the ultimate trip for beer lovers, complete with a brewery tour and the highest ever in-flight beer tasting.
I’m sure you’ve heard of ‘a flight of beer’ before but this experience gives the phrase a whole new meaning.
Later this year, the brewery company are offering members of the public the opportunity to hop (pun intended) on board BrewDog Airlines, the world’s first craft beer airline, and fly from London Stansted to Columbus, Ohio to take part in the five-night adventure.
Check out what’s in store:
The flight takes off on October 31 and rather than wiling away the plane ride with old films, passengers can pass the time with BrewDog-inspired dining and suggested BrewDog beer pairings, entertain themselves with the BrewDog TV show, or settle down to sleep in a BrewDog eye mask and blanket.
The trip includes a behind-the-scenes tour of the US BrewDog brewery, where visitors are given the chance to sample some of their freshest beers straight from the tank, as well as specially designed self-guided tours of the best local craft beer, food and spirit venues and a full-day trip to explore some of the best breweries in Cincinnati.
BrewDog also offer visitors the chance to stay for one night at the world’s first hotel inside a craft brewery, The DogHouse, which sits on the same site as the BrewDog USA brewhouse and a 6,000 sq ft interactive craft beer museum.
Those already in the US don’t have to worry about missing out on the fun, however, as BrewDog is also offering a simultaneously running trip to Scotland to pay homage to their roots.
BrewDog Airlines will fly beer-lovers from Columbus to Edinburgh on October 31, where accommodation is provided for one night in Edinburgh and three nights in Aberdeen, before showing you around the headquarters in Ellon and embarking on a guided tour of some of Scotland’s best whisky distilleries.
Once everyone is successfully filled to the brim with alcohol, you’ll head back to BrewDog Airlines for the return flight to Columbus or Stansted on November 5.
Tickets to Columbus cost £1,450 for an individual with a private room, or £2,750 for a package of two people sharing a room, while the trip to Scotland costs £1,350 for an individual with a private room, or £2,550 for a package of two people sharing.
Ticket price is inclusive of all flights, excursions and accommodation and the brewery will also treat guests to $300/£250 BrewDog Brewbucks for spending in BrewDog bars on beer, food or merch during your stay.
If you know this is the perfect trip for you and a mate, tell them all about it and you can both receive 15 per cent off your BrewDog Airlines experience when they book online using your name as a reference. If you’ve flown with BrewDog Airlines before you are eligible for a 25 per cent frequent flyer discount if you book onto this trip too!
