For many spice hounds, Taco Bell is the place to go when you get a hankering for Mexican food. As well as for those times when you’re after a solid Mean Girls quote.
From the Grilled Stuft Burrito, Crunchwrap Supreme and Crunchy Tacos; the chain has offered many playful takes on Tex-Mex cuisine over it’s 55-year-long history and now, they’ve upped their game big time…

With the bold mantra ‘no more boring chicken,’ Taco Bell has to launched one of their most exciting products yet: Chicken Nachos.
For a wallet-friendly £1.99, one portion of Chicken Nachos contains five pieces of delectably tender chicken breast; layered with a crispy, cheesy coating and a gentle suggestion of spice.
Each scrumptious portion comes complete with plenty of Taco Bell’s iconic creamy cheese sauce; warmed and ready for some heavy duty dipping.
When you think about it, it’s kind of amazing this recipe hasn’t been cooked up sooner. So much more filling and satisfying than your go-to tortilla chip, yet still retaining all those zesty flavours which leave you licking the plate.
People are understandably more than a little bit excited over this recent quirky addition to the already proudly kooky menu.
One person jested: ‘Sorry I couldn’t hear you over the sound of my car starting’ while another squealed; ‘Nachos made from chicken?! YES PLEASE!’

This isn’t the first time Taco Bell have messed with our notions regarding what is the carb and what should be in the carb.
Previous mind-boggling concoctions launched in the US have included Chicken Tacos – which quickly became a fan favourite – as well as the similarly popular dish Naked Chicken Chips. Just like the Chicken Nachos, these could be heading to a UK store near you in the future, so watch this space.
