All eyes were on both the A-listers because Brad Pitt left Jennifer Aniston for Angelina Jolie in 2005.
All eyes, including 50 Shades actress Dakota Johnson who was caught on camera watching Angelina Jolie’s reaction to Jennifer Aniston’s speech:
The photo went viral, presumably because it was such a human reaction from Dakota, showing the world that it isn’t just journalists and magazine readers who care about celebrity relationship drama – other celebrities are interested too.
However, Dakota has revealed that she wasn’t looking at Angelina Jolie at all.
Instead, she said, she was actually looking past Jolie and trying to sneak a film of some other stars behind Jolie at the Golden Globes:

Awkwardly, Dakota was trying to film the kids from Stranger Things on her phone (accidentally catching Ridley Scott napping) and ignoring the megastar directly in front of her.
So while the whole world assumed Dakota was #teamjen and nerding out over the decades old Brad Pitt drama – she was actually fangirling over Netflix’s smash hit.
Mystery solved. Albeit, with a much more bizarre explanation than the original assumption.
Still, it still shows that even headline stars like Dakota can still themselves be starstruck like the rest of us – even if it isn’t by who you’d expect.
Dakota Johnson was on Jimmy Fallon Live promoting Fifty Shades Freed which hits cinema on February 9.

I’ve only actually watched half of one of the 50 Shades films. Made the fatal error of watching it with my mum and had to leave the room at the first sex scene to have a panic attack in the back garden.
They could be very good films for all I know, but I’ve been emotionally scarred by that experience.
