Britain’s youngest Euromillions winner has made headlines yet again after going on holiday with her mates.
Jane Park, the 21-year-old who courts media attention and controversy at every turn, has become a mainstay in the media’s gossip pages and today is no different.
Park, from Edinburgh, travelled to the Canary Islands for some winter sun – but her mini break clashed with a Hibernian game against Hearts, according to the Daily Star.
Like any dedicated football supporter, Park – who’s an avid Hibs devotee – watched the game on Periscope from her holiday hot spot.
But, in her words, Park ‘went out n got melted n missed my flight’ forcing her to extend her holiday by an extra day.
Celebrating Hibs’ win against their rivals was a momentous enough occasion to document for all eternity apparently.
On Twitter, Park shared a tattoo proclaiming ‘Hibs every weekend’ with her 15,000 followers.
No doubt these events will spark criticism and online vitriol towards Park – who recently announced she’s planning to sue the lottery for ‘ruining her life‘.
Apparently the millionairess is now being approached by ITV in the hopes she’ll agree to be a contestant on Love Island.
I can’t help but wonder when it became more important to be talked about and almost universally slammed by the public than to be respected – or just left alone to live you life the way you see fit.
