Cara Delevinge has accentuated her bold brows even more by shaving her head for her latest film role.

The privileged-daughter-of-rich-people-turned-model-turned-actress is playing a woman with terminal cancer who discovers she only has one year left to live.

As usual the keyboard warriors of the world are projecting their own insecurities onto other people instead of facing their demons, and have subjected Cara to some abuse about her new look.

Take a seat…

Delevingne hit back at trolls on Instagram:

Its exhausting to be told what beauty should look like. I am tired of society defining beauty for us. Strip away the clothes, Wipe Off the make up, cut off the hair.

Remove all the material possessions. Who are we? How are we defining beauty? What do we see as beautiful?

The more we embrace who we are as people and rely less on our physical attributes, the more empowered we become. Beauty shouldn’t be so easily defined. It is limitless.

I guess it’s a bit ironic coming from her when she’s made an entire career out of what she looks like.

She’s been a huge part of the modelling industry which literally creates modern standards of beauty and pushes them on the rest of society.

Despite being part of the problem, Cara makes a valid point about the judgmental and narrow minded society we live in when it comes to beauty (and a lot else to be fair).

Of course she did quit modelling last year, and leaped into the acting scene, so maybe the superficiality got too much.

In the new film Life In A Year, Cara will act alongside Jaden Smith, who also shaved his head for the role, in the emotional romantic drama.
