Remember when Miley Cyrus posted a topless picture on her Instagram a few years ago and the whole #FreeTheNipple thing went worldwide? Well it could be said Jennifer Aniston spearheaded the revolution long before the likes of Cyrus, back in her Friends days?
If you ever watched the show, you might have picked up on Aniston’s visible nipples? You may not have? I personally never did, as I consider myself above such boorishness.
However, the topic was brought up one afternoon way back when, me, my mate and his brother were tucking into some Heinz Ravioli, taking a break from climbing trees and picking our noses!
NBCFriends was on, as were, naturally, Aniston’s nipples and my mate’s brother asked if we knew why you could always see Aniston’s nips?
We said no. He answered: ‘She cut holes in her bra so her boobs could look good but natural.’ I may be paraphrasing here – I think this was 2004 or something?
Don’t fact check me on this, Aniston doesn’t strike me as the type to go to such lengths in order impress people?
She might have also just worn a cup bra. She might have just been born that way? Who knows?
The actress actually addressed the burning issue last year.
She told Vogue:
Yeah, I don’t know what to say about that! It’s just one of those things, I guess?
I wear a bra, I don’t know what to tell ya? And I don’t know why we’re supposed to be ashamed of them—it’s just the way my breasts are! But hey, OG, I’m not going to complain!
Brilliant. Acknowledge the debate but give no clear definitive answer. Keep the public guessing.
