GettyIdris Elba has taken to Twitter to shut down – in no uncertain terms – rumours that he and Madonna have been getting it on.
The rumour mill went into overdrive after Madge posted a video of Idris kicking ass in his first pro kickboxing fight to Instagram, reports Mashable.
Elba took to the ring in preparation for his upcoming documentary Fighter which will see him trying out a handful of combat sports.
Madonna filmed the clip of the fight – which Idris Elba won – from her ringside seat to begin tongues wagging before the pair were spotted ‘all over each other’ at a party later that night.
According to The Sun, the pair rocked up at a swanky London restaurant and couldn’t keep their hands off each other.

They arrived together at around 3am and were all over each other. There was nothing subtle about it, no attempt to hide. It was very blatant.
They were at the party for about an hour, they would dance, go off to smooch, then mingle a bit more.
They only had eyes for each other. That seemed very, very clear.
Madonna even posted a Snapchat pic of the pair backstage after Idris’ fight:

The actor posted this no-nonsense tweet:

Madonna is yet to respond to the rumours, but if Elba’s tweet is anything to go by it’s probably safe to assume that they’re just friends…
