Ivanka Trump has hit out after recent reports emerged of President Barack Obama’s eldest daughter Malia, kissing a British student.

19-year-old Malia was pictured sharing a romantic exchange with a classmate, in public last Saturday, while the pair attended a tailgate at the annual Harvard-Yale game.

The former first daughter was snapped reaching up and putting her arms around 19-year-old Crimson fan Rory Farquharson.

However, now the pictures have gone viral, Ivanka Trump – daughter of POTUS, Donald Trump – has blasted the media world, stating the young pair should be given ‘privacy’.

Ivanaka, who regularly shares photos on social media of her own children – Theodore, Arabella and Joseph, tweeted on Friday to say:

Malia Obama should be allowed the same privacy as her school aged peers.

She is a young adult and private citizen and should be OFF limits.

Despite Ivanka referring to Malia as ‘school age’, the former first daughter is in fact 19-years-old.

Malia’s and Rory’s passionate embrace was caught in a public place, shortly before Yale beat Harvard 24-3.

Following the photograph’s circulation, more details have emerged of Malia’s supposed ‘love interest’.

Farquharson is a former head boy at the UK’s £32,000-a-year ($42,600) prestigious Rugby School, report the Daily Mail.

He also has links to the royals – his second cousin was the Queen’s Assistant Master of the Household at Buckingham Palace.

The footage of the young pair also showed Malia smoking a cigarette during the tailgate – she was previously seen smoking what appeared to be a joint at Lollapalooza back in 2016.

Ivanka isn’t the only person to have lashed out at the media following the photograph being published.

Chelsea Clinton, former first daughter – whose parents are former President Bill Clinton and retired Secretary of State, Hillary Clinton – also took to Twitter to share her dismay.

Chelsea branded the photograph as ‘clickbait’ and tweeted:

Malia Obama’s private life, as a young woman, a college student, a private citizen, should not be your clickbait. Be better.

It’s not the first time Chelsea has come to the defence of other first children.

Back in August she berated the media outlet, Daily Caller, for an opinion piece it published, criticising the way President Trump’s youngest son – Barron Trump – dressed.

She tweeted at the time:

It’s high time the media & everyone leave Barron Trump alone & let him have the private childhood he deserves.

She then followed up the message with another tweet, writing:

Dear Matty – Barron is A KID. No child should be talked about in the below manner-in real life or online. And for an adult to do so? For shame.

In response to Chelsea’s tweet, First Lady Melania Trump thanked her for the support of her 11-year-old son, writing on Twitter:

Thank you @ChelseaClinton – so important to support all of our children in being themselves! #StopChildhoodBullying.

19-year-old Malia is currently in her first-year at Harvard University.

A year ago, President Barack Obama said Malia, along with his younger daughter Sasha, had already started dating and he felt ‘pretty relaxed’ about it.

In a jokingly manner he added:

They’ve had Secret Service. There’s only so much these guys can do.

After graduating high school in 2016, Malia took a gap year – at the time, the Obamas said it was an effort to start college without the distraction of her father in the White House.

Regardless of what Malia gets up to, she’s a 19-year-old woman trying to find her way in the world.

Maybe Ivanaka and Chelsea have a point!
