Kanye West is believed to have given his wife, Kim Kardashian, a $200,000 gift for Christmas.
The reality TV personality posted some videos to her Instagram story on Boxing Day, in which she opened some of the presents Kanye West had given her.
Kim narrated the clips, enlightening viewers on what she’d received from her significant other.
In one of the clips she says:
OK so for one of my Christmas presents from Kanye he gives me this little box with a Disney Mickey toy, Apple headphones, Netflix, Amazon gift cards and Adidas socks. And I’m like, ‘That’s so sweet, thanks!’
But then I open the next box and it’s stock to Amazon where he got the gift card, stock to Netflix, stock to Apple, hence the little headphones, Adidas stock and Disney stock.
People estimate the stocks round up to around $200,000 (£150,000).
Kardashian wrote on the post:
best husband alert!
You could say Kim Kardashian deserves the presents after enlisting the help of her lawyer to try and free Cyntoia Brown – a woman jailed for killing a man who picked her up for sex when she was just 16-years-old, reports New York Daily News.
Cyntoia was given a life sentence in 2004 for shooting Nashville estate agent Johnny Allen.
At the time of the killing, Cyntoia was being pimped out by her violent boyfriend – a man by the name of ‘Kut Throat’ – and claims she killed Mr Allen because of fear he was going to hurt her.
Cyntoia’s story isn’t the only legal case the Kardashian has being assisting with.
Alice Johnson – a former Fed-Ex worker who helped transfer messages between members of a cocaine ring in the 1990s – has also caught the attention of Kim, who again, asked her lawyer to help with her life sentence.
Johnson has spent 21 years behind bars and is now a 62-year-old grandmother – it was her first-time, nonviolent drug conviction.
The Tennessee mother of four took full responsibility for the crime two decades ago, explaining it was a mistake she’d made after falling on hard times.
In Cyntoia’s case, she’s now 29-years-old, having spent more than a decade in prison for killing the 43-year-old.
