The reality star Katie Price has allegedly been caught using her disabled son Harvey’s blue badge to park outside a tanning salon.
Price supposedly broke the rules allowing blue badge owners to park in places others can’t by using the badge without Harvey being in the car.
The Mirror is now reporting that Price faces a £1,000 fine for parking outside a tanning studio near her home in Sussex.
There are also reports that Price had another problem parking when she stopped her car in a ‘Car Club’ spot which is supposed to be reserved for those using a car-sharing service.
It’s also not the first time that Price has got into an argument over her blue badge status.
Back in 2010 the former glamour model got into an argument with an elderly couple when they accused her of misusing the blue badge at a retail centre car park.
At the time Katie was cleared as she had her son Harvey, who suffers who suffers from Prader-Willi syndrome, autism and ADHD with her at the time of the argument.
A source reported how Katie had let rip at the couple, saying:
The man recognised her and started saying, ‘Who do you think you are?’ She was in no mood to take any nonsense .
She told him ‘Mind your fucking business’, then saw red when he wouldn’t let it go. She said she was entitled to park because of Harvey, who she is very protective of.
This years seen the number of prosecutions for unlawful use of a blue badge rocketed 84 per cent nationwide.
