KhloeKardashian/InstagramWhat’s a little Instagram back and forth between sisters? Well, in the Klan house, it’s often enough to make headlines and leave Khloe Kardashian fuming apparently.
As we all know, the band of sisters don’t mind sharing. Kim Kardashian’s Instagram feed reads like someone leveraging her fame and hustling hard to add a few zeros to her already huge $350 million nepotistically-earned net worth, with hashtag spon posts, selfies and pictures picked by her husband to portray the ‘right’ image to the world – whatever it may be this week.
The self-commodification is plain for all to see:
But in a cleverly curated move, presumably to remind us Kim Kardashian isn’t just a money-making machine – but also a human being, a mum, and a supposedly sympathetic millionaire – the beauty mogul has become accustomed to sharing throwbacks to simpler, less-endowed times.
Sometimes the ‘flashback Fridays’ feature her old school friends. Mostly, the ‘throwback Thursdays’ show Kim – anything else would be a departure from the KKW brand – in various states of pre-fame existence.
Sometimes, though, Kim shares pictures of herself alongside her equally famous family members, and reality TV co-stars. All well and good, until they go against the other’s brand.
GettyOne in particular seems to have rubbed her sister, Khloe, up the wrong way.
We’ve all been there; a notification comes through on one of the various social media platforms saying you’ve been tagged in a picture.
‘Oh, nice’, you think to yourself, ‘Validation of my social life, incoming.’ Until you open it up and uncover a picture not to your liking, and are immediately overcome with emotions, primarily directed at the uploader of the offending picture.
GettyDenial (they wouldn’t do this to me), anger (how could they do this to me?), bargaining (I’ll get them to take it down), depression (but why do I look like that?), and acceptance (oh, who cares anyway, there are always other pictures) inevitably ensue, illustrating the damaging amount of worth we are told to attribute to our looks these days.
Usually, it’s just us who pick fault with the picture, and most of the Kardashian fans in the comments section see absolutely nothing wrong with the snap Khloe was ‘not liking’.

Kim captioned the picture by saying she is ‘thankful for the glow up’, alluding to the change in her appearance since this was taken, which she perceives as positive.
A lot of commentators – and trolls – in the comments section clapped back saying the so-called glow up was perhaps the result of plastic surgery and a lot of time, money and effort.
Some answered the question no one was asking by saying they preferred what Kim, Kourtney, and Khloe looked like when they were more ‘natural’.
Kim has previously denied invasive plastic surgery procedures, but regardless, a transformation is still a transformation by any means.
However, Khloe didn’t seem to see it that way and chimed in:
I’m not liking this picture btw.

KimKardashian/InstagramWell, as with the draw of a small sibling spat on their TV show, Keeping Up With The Kardashians, their fans certainly have a lot of opinions on the matter, with one calling Kim ‘petty‘ for sharing the photo.
But the Kardashian Klan are used to a little public falling out to fan the flames of their fame, and after each and every small spat they kiss and make up like the picture-perfect American familial dream.
Khloe summed it up well when she said she’d love her sister ‘until the end of time’ in a birthday post (on Instagram, of course) dedicated to Kim last month.
She wrote:
My entire life, you’ve always been someone that I look up to. I’m so thankful for us getting closer over the last year. You’re a f*cking rider! Without you I would be lost!
Crazy sh*t happens to us all of the time, but how f*cking lucky are we that we get to experience this crazy thing called life with one another? I know for certain, that no matter what happens to any of us, we will always be OK because we have one another.
Well, if the sibling rivalry gets too much for any of them, at least you know their ‘momager’, Kris Jenner, will be able to afford the subsequent years of therapy.
