Kanye West and Kim Kardashian are reportedly fearing for the safety of their unborn child after pictures of their surrogate were leaked online.
The couple, who are parents to five-year-old North and two-year-old Saint have allegedly been going to extreme lengths to avoid the public finding out the identity of the woman pregnant with their child.
The 27-year-old surrogate, who is believed to live in San Diego, has had her pictures leaked to a number of publications.
A source told the Sun Online:
As soon as they got told the surrogate had been pictured, and that the photos were out there, Kim and Kanye got desperately worried.
They wanted to keep her identity private, both for her safety and the baby’s. It was their number one priority.
Since Kim’s horrific burglary experience in Paris last year, the couple have upped the ante in terms of security and privacy.
With the identity release of their surrogate, they now suspect danger may come to their unborn third child.
The source added:
Kanye was so angry – he was calling his security team, asking how this had happened, while Kim was frantic with worry.
They’ve called a meeting with their security team so they can protect their surrogate.
Kim and Kanye are expected to welcome their child, a girl, into the world next January.
TMZ reported that they decided to opt for a surrogacy after Kim experienced medical problems during her two pregnancies.
A source told People:
The entire family is over the moon.
Given her health scares in the past, Kim felt the need to fire a surrogacy agency that helped serve as the liaison in finding a healthy woman who would be a great surrogate option for her and Kanye.
Both of them have been super involved in the process.

Kim recently spoke about her ordeal of carrying her first child North.
She said:
Khloé and I had gone to a fertility doctor, and they said it would be really hard for me [to get pregnant]. So I was about to freeze my eggs, and then I randomly got pregnant. I remember calling [Kanye] and he thought a family member of mine died I was so hysterical. I thought my life was over, that I was pregnant, it was so hard for me. Obviously it was the best thing that’s ever happened to me.
Talking about her near-miscarriage, she added:
I was so scared, I was having so much pain. I mean, at one point I thought I had a miscarriage — I was pretty certain about it. I didn’t know what was going on. I flew all the way home on Thanksgiving and the doctor told me, ‘There’s no heartbeat, you had a miscarriage. Let’s get through it, come in after Thanksgiving dinner.’ Then I went in that morning and he was like, ‘There’s a heartbeat, you didn’t have a miscarriage!’ and I was like, ‘Oh my God, this is a sign.’
It was such an emotional Thanksgiving, and Kourtney was the only one that knew about it. Her and Kanye, because we were in Miami living together.
