Mere days after Wills and Kate announced their impending royal arrival, Kim Kardashian and Kanye West are reportedly expanding the Kimye dynasty too.
The celeb couple are reported to be bringing home a little girl in January – a brand new socialite sister for 4-year-old North and 2-year-old Saint.
This will be the ninth girl in the Kardashian clan (tenth if you count matriach Kris) and you can guarantee her baby grows will be more stylish than all your favourite date-night outfits put together.
Due to the life threatening placenta accreta Kim experienced during her first two pregnancies, a surrogate has been hired to bring the baby to term, according to TMZ.
Doctors have advised Kim Kardashian against carrying the baby herself because of the risks of fatal haemorrhaging during labour.
The unnamed surrogate, who is said to be in her late twenties, will reportedly be paid $45,000 for her womb-service.
Apparently, if the pregnancy results in more than one baby, she will be awarded an extra $5,000 per child.
I bet she’s keeping her fingers crossed for octuplets…
However, the surrogate will have to abide by a set of strict rules throughout her pregnancy…
She’s prohibited from using hot tubs, not allowed to dye her hair and must keep away from raw fish.
Going anywhere near cat litter is a complete no-no, as is sex in the weeks leading up to the birth.
Apparently, all is going swimmingly and the Kardashian-West family are ‘over the moon’.
