Kim Kardashian is known for making herself stand out on the internet, and she’s caught everyone’s attention once again with the caption on her latest Instagram picture.
Kim K has made headlines for ‘breaking the internet’ with a picture of herself, her reality TV show Keeping Up With The Kardashians, and recently even for meeting the President of the United States to discuss political issues.
In short – she’s very well known, mostly through her own actions.
However, the star has completely contradicted everything the world knows about her with her latest Instagram post, which she shared early this morning.
The reality TV star was either making a joke, or revealing that she is genuinely different to people’s beliefs when she wrote the caption.
The picture showed the star posing by the pool wearing a bikini.
The caption read:
I’m really shy…
Yes, you read that correctly – Kim Kardashian is shy.
The ellipses after the comment might suggest that Kim is joking about being shy while posing for a picture, but a lot of people aren’t sure whether to take the caption seriously or not.
One person wrote:
Soo shy right! That pose definitely SCREAMS I’m shy af.
While another supported the star, writing:
You look FABULOUS Kimmie
The star regularly posts pictures of herself on Instagram, and appears very body confident. Though, that’s not to say that she’s not genuinely shy in real life. Most of us probably haven’t met her to be able to judge.
Kim has spoken in the past about her body in an interview with Shape magazine, where she explained the struggles she has been through, but said she is ultimately now happy with the way she looks.
She said:
I have cellulite, just like almost every other woman on the planet. And just because I feel secure with my body doesn’t mean I think cellulite is cute! It will always be an issue for me.
I was only 10 when I started developing breasts. I remember crying in the bathtub. I took a washcloth, made it really hot, put it over my chest, and prayed, ‘Please don’t let them grow any bigger! They’re embarrassing me!’
Speaking to Elle about her body, Kim said:
It’s taken me a long time to be happy with my body and for my confidence to grow to what it is today. I grew up when the body to have was the tall, slim, supermodel one, like Cindy Crawford’s.
No one looked like me. It’s good to break the mould and recreate one.
I’m an Armenian girl, I have shape, and it turned out people liked that. That makes me feel good about myself and about other women for being so supportive.
I am a confident woman, but I didn’t just arrive confident – it has built over the years and that is a big part of who I am now.
Despite it probably not being her intention this time, Kim appears to have broken the internet once again with her Insta caption.
We’ll probably never know for sure if Kim was joking, or if she was trying to introduce us to this previously unseen and entirely unexpected side of her, but there’s no doubt we’ll be getting more updates from her life before long.
