Kim Kardashian Wants People To Stop Focusing On Her ‘Ass’

Although she’s put emphasis on it herself in the past, Kim Kardashian has now said she wants people to stop focusing on her ‘ass’.

The reality star’s bum has been a talking point for years in pop culture – people have even had surgery in a desperate attempt to replicate her curves – and I think a lot of us would agree it’s one of the 38-year-old’s most recognisable traits.

Kim obviously knows her bum is famous in its own right, and she was all too happy for people to focus on it during her ‘break the internet’ stint, when a photo series for Paper magazine had her showing off her peachy backside, even balancing a champagne glass on it.

However, it seems the reality star is finally tired of people talking about her bum:

She made the comment as part of Vogue’s 73 Questions feature, which allowed viewers a look inside the Californian mansion she shares with husband Kanye West and their three kids, Saint, North, and Chicago.

Kim was questioned on a range of topics, including fame, her family, and her Instagram following, and she broached the topic of her bum when asked about the one thing she wished people would focus more on.

That probably would have been the perfect opportunity to mention something other than her backside and start a conversation about another aspect of her life, but she obviously wanted to get the matter off her chest.

She answered:

I wish they would not focus on my ass all the time.

With there being 73 questions to get through in 11 minutes, the interviewer didn’t have time to expand on the subject, so we’ll never know exactly what Kim wishes people would focus more on.

Perhaps her new venture into the field of law will be the thing to shift the focus away from her bum, as she also revealed to Vogue she’s training to become a lawyer, and hopes to take the bar exam in 2022.

Speaking to the magazine about her career change, she said:

I had to think long and hard about this.

Kim explained her decision is a largely down to her work helping to free Alice Marie Johnson last year, commenting:

The White House called me to advise to help change the system of clemency, and I’m sitting in the Roosevelt Room with, like, a judge who had sentenced criminals and a lot of really powerful people and I just sat there, like, Oh, shit. I need to know more.

Kim went on:

I would say what I had to say, about the human side and why this is so unfair. But I had attorneys with me who could back that up with all the facts of the case.

It’s never one person who gets things done; it’s always a collective of people, and I’ve always known my role, but I just felt like I wanted to be able to fight for people who have paid their dues to society.

I just felt like the system could be so different, and I wanted to fight to fix it, and if I knew more, I could do more.

Hopefully Kim’s bum won’t be the topic of conversation when she’s working on cases as a lawyer!
