The internet has been speculating for some time on the new secret addition to the kluster of Kardashians.
For months, fans have been trying to work out what is going on with absentee Kylie and her baby-which-definitely-isn’t-hapenning-people-nothing-to-see-here.
The KUWTK star is reportedly expecting her first child this month, and a baby name has officially been selected, according to PEOPLE.
An inside source said the 20-year-old definitely has a baby name picked out, but she isn’t in any rush to reveal anything about the child.
The source said:
She very much enjoys being out of the spotlight and can’t wait to spend quiet time with the baby. She doesn’t seem in any rush to get back to a more public life.
She is not selling baby pictures.
The internet erupted at the end of last month when some eagle-eyed fans realised the title of an upcoming KUWTK episode was ‘We’re Expecting!’
Although hardcore fans of KUWTK are often cruelly mocked for their supposedly inferior critical thinking skills, they proved critics wrong through the power of astute deduction.
Tabloid Art History tweeted:
Wait…I just clocked that the season finale of KUWTK is going to be called ‘We’re Expecting!’…and the episodes where Khloé and Kim announce they’re expecting have already aired…which means…MAYBE WE’RE FINALLY GETTING KYLIE CONFIRMATION?
The official Wikipedia episode synopsis certainly hints at the official announcement of the baby to millions of fans, but the Klan have still remained shtum.
The synopsis reads:
Following Khloe’s pregnancy announcement, Kylie and boyfriend Travis Scott have some big news of their own to share with the family. Kylie chooses to have a break from her social media and focus on her upcoming blessing.
By now we all already know she’s taken a break from her social media, no news there. But that synopsis definitely reads like the announcement isn’t going to be anything other than a baby reveal.
Of course, Wikipedia isn’t always the most reliable source; as any indignant university tutor will tell you.
Indeed, this could all well be the work of a Kylie-starved super fan pining away for information during her social media drought?
But what of the baby name? Some fans have speculated the potential name choice, with favourites being Storm, Jessie and Christ.
A second source told PEOPLE that Kylie was enjoying time out of the public eye, saying:
Being out of the spotlight has helped Kylie prepare for the baby, but she is also thinking about her life after giving birth.
She will take things as they come, but she’s excited to get back out there and have fun again…
She’s always been closest to [Khloe] but this pregnancy has helped her bond with Kourtney.
She thinks Kourtney is an amazing hands-on mum, and that’s how she wants to be.
So even when the baby comes, don’t be expecting too many baby pictures on Insta, as that doesn’t seem like the new agenda for Kylie Jenner.
But then again, how else will Kris make any money from her granddaughter?
