Brooklyn Beckham and Chloe Grace Moretz have become the centre of engagement rumours after posting an incredibly cryptic photo to Instagram.
The two aren’t together for Christmas, but a series of snaps online show the romance is definitely still alive.
And one cryptic pic has fans wondering just whether the two have decided to tie the knot, thanks to a couple of matching rings.
The latest picture is a black and white selfie of the happy couple, and in the image are a couple of rings on their respective wedding fingers.
The couple rekindled their romance over the summer and since then they have seemingly been more in love than ever.
Fans on Instagram were quick to congratulate the couple, but it is yet to be confirmed just whether the rumours are indeed true.
For one, the two are wearing signet rings as opposed to engagement rings, but the placement of the rings on those particular fingers is what has people questioning their engagement.
The two dated for a short time back in 2014 before they split, but they rekindled their romance after Brooklyn moved to New York to undertake a photography course.
Speaking about the romance last year, Chloe told Mirror Online:
My boyfriend is a huge support. I mean, don’t get me wrong, I don’t need a man for anything, but when I’m feeling bad about myself, he’s like, ‘Stop. Look at what you say in interviews. Look at what you stand for. Listen to your own words, because you’re as beautiful as you say you are!’
The eldest Beckham child has even released a book of his shots – with mediocre sales.
One of his most confusing snaps on insta was actually one of his tattoos, which caused yet more confusion among his fans.
The tattoo, which he got back in October, was a simple number seven on his little finger, could mean a number of different things.
It is reportedly his seventh tattoo, so there could be that earth shattering meaning behind the ink, but some speculated at the time a more sentimental attachment for the young photographer.
One theory is that the tattoo is in the name of his little sister Harper Seven, which would be quite cute really.
Another possibility is that the number is a homage to his dad David Beckham whose shirt number was seven during his legendary career with Manchester United.
You can actually see the tat in the above picture of Brooklyn and Chloe with their rings on, so he isn’t afraid to show it off.
Of course, all this could be absolutely pointless speculation, and it could be that Instagram posts don’t always have a hidden meaning behind them. Just a thought.
