Ryan Reynolds is the funniest man on the internet and no one is safe from his jokes – not even his own mother.
You’d have thought Mother’s Day (May 13) would have meant Reynolds would have given her a break, but instead, he saw it as an opportunity to prove he’s still the king of online banter.
Sharing a photo of his mum, Tammy, smiling next to someone dressed in a white rabbit outfit, Reynolds wrote:
Yeah, you’ve made some unsettling romantic decisions. But that never stopped you from being an amazing mom. Happy Mother’s Day.
At least he was nice about her, even if that was only at the end:
In the past seven hours the tweet has of course, gone viral, receiving at time of writing (May 14), 52,000 likes and 2,500 retweets.
Over on Instagram Reynolds shared the same post, which also named the rabbit as being his mum’s ‘life-partner Doug’.
Receiving over 330,000 likes so far, people are applauding Reynolds in the comments section for, once again, making the internet laugh.
Of course this isn’t the first time Reynolds has trolled his mum online.
The 41-year-old Deadpool actor shared a photo on Instagram earlier this year of his mother, covered in fake tattoos at Brazil’s Comic Con.
The post came only a day after he offered to give free tattoos to fans at the event.
Reynolds wrote:
My Mom had the best time in the Deadpool tattoo booth at Brazil Comic Con.
Luckily for Tammy, Reynolds’ main victim for his trolling is his wife, actress Blake Lively, who really has to put up with it.
Even in the most recent trailer for Deadpool 2 there’s a joke aimed at Lively.
Right at the end of the trailer, Deadpool himself says:
Doing the right thing is messy, but if you wanna fight for what’s right, sometimes you have to fight dirty.
And that’s why Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants is pure pornography.
Of course, this is a cheeky reference to one of Lively’s first films, The Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants.

Last year Reynolds also went full savage on Lively, brutally trolling her on Instagram.
The actress was photographed looking unrecognisable on the set of her upcoming film The Rhythm Section.
Reynolds just had to share this on his social media for everyone to see, simply writing ‘no filter’.
As was to be expected, the post went viral with fans guffawing at the couple’s quirky sense of humour.
