Selena Gomez’s T-Shirt Has Message For Justin Bieber After Engagement, Fans Claim

Justin Bieber announced his engagement to Hailey Baldwin on Monday, (July 9) and fans are claiming Selena Gomez has reacted to the news with in the form of a t-shirt.

Selena and Justin broke up in March this year, and Bieber has wasted no time in finding himself a new/old girl.

Having dated model Hailey before, the singer announced their engagement on Instagram on Monday night.

In his post, Bieber wrote:

Was gonna wait a while to say anything but word travels fast, listen plain and simple Hailey I am soooo in love with everything about you! [sic]

So committed to spending my life getting to know every single part of you loving you patiently and kindLY. [sic]

My heart is COMPLETELY and FULLY YOURS and I will ALWAYS put you first! You are the love of my life Hailey Baldwin and I wouldn’t want to spend it with anybody else. [sic]

Of course, this quick turnaround left many Jelena (Justin and Selena) fans wondering how Selena would take the news.

Searching for any sign of reaction, fans are convinced Selena’s shirt held the response they were so desperately waiting for.

If fans’ suspicions are true, then Selena addressed Bieber in a way even more indirect than a tweet with no tag.

The star was pictured after Bieber’s announcement wearing a shirt which read: ‘Only the strong survive’.

It’s not quite the statement ‘I don’t really care, do u?’ would have made, but she was looking happy and appeared care-free after her ex’s engagement announcement.

Fans loved the singer’s choice of clothing, praising Selena and calling her a queen.

One fan wrote:

SELENA YESTERDAY!

YES BABY!! THE WEAVE IS BACK! BTW HER SHIRT SAYS “ONLY THE STRONGEST SURVIVE” AND SHE LOOKS SO HAPPY SHES REALLY COMING! MY POWERFUL QUEEN [sic]

Another tweeted:

Selena’s shirt slays and says it all.

Hailey Baldwin posted on Twitter after Bieber made his Instagram announcement, writing:

Not sure what I did in life to deserve such happiness but I am so utterly grateful to God for giving me such an incredible person to share my life with!

No words could ever express my gratitude.

I wonder what she makes of the t-shirt?

With Selena officially out of the picture, ‘Jelena’ is no more, and ‘Jailey’ is apparently now the quick and efficient way to refer to Justin and Hailey.

Even if you hate yourself a little bit when saying it, it’s got a ring to it – pun intended!

Fans joked on Twitter about the fast-paced changes which took place between Justin and Hailey and their various exes, with one person even comparing the relationship-jumping similar to the scenes of Love Island. 

They wrote:

holy shit wait hailey baldwin is not with shawn mendes????????? and justin bieber is not with selena gomez ??????? justin and hailey are engaged?????????? this season of love island is so good [sic]

Hopefully no one will be swooping in to turn the heads of Justin or Hailey, and they can continue to crack on in their couple while Selena stays independent and care-free.
