Sneaky Way Jamie Foxx And Katie Holmes Kept Relationship Secret For Five Years

Katie Holmes and Jamie Foxx finally confirmed their relationship yesterday after years of keeping things under wraps.

Well, at the very least it seems like it, after the pair were spotted walking hand-in-hand across a beach in Malibu.

For years, the Hollywood actors dodged rumours they were an item and it’s believed it was kept hidden due to an agreement Holmes made with former husband Tom Cruise.

It has also been reported Holmes was due a £7million settlement fee should she not break any of the terms of her divorce from Cruise.

38-year-old Holmes and 49-year-old Fox publicly dismissed the ‘fake news’ and insisted they were nothing more than friends.

But it turns out the pair were rather sneaky in allowing their blossoming love to be kept away from the prying eyes of the public.

Katie is believed to have worn wigs and hats, in efforts to try and disguise herself as the pair visited one another’s homes, reports the Daily Mail.

The couple were first photographed together when Katie and her then-husband Tom Cruise attended a NFL game in September 2006 – the same year the couple wed in Italy.

Since her divorce from Cruise in 2012, Holmes and Foxx were the subject of numerous rumours following multiple appearances together.

They were spotted dancing together at a benefit in The Hamptons and Holmes was also a guest at Jamie’s surprise birthday party in New York, as well as being in the audience for when Foxx performed on stage with Barbara Streisand at her New York concert in 2016.

Foxx was spotted in Los Angeles yesterday and when asked about his relationship with Holmes, the Ray star refused to comment, although he was all smiles and did give the ‘thumbs up’ sign.

Jamie is a father to two daughters but has never married – his eldest daughter 23-year-old Corinne is a model and 2016’s Miss Golden Globe, while his youngest daughter Annalise is just eight years old.

Katie was Cruise’s third wife, and they share one child together, daughter Suri.

Cruise has publicly remained single since his divorce from Holmes.
