Capital Radio DJ Tim Westwood accidentally sent out his bank details to all of his followers on Snapchat.
The former BBC Radio 1 DJ had meant to send his details of his no limit credit card to a love interest ahead of a date coming up the following week.
However, rather than privately send them to one person he sent it to all of his fans on Snapchat instead.
On the snap was a photo of his card with the caption:
Baby looking forward taking you to dinner on Thursday.
I appreciate you may wanna get nails, hair and a wax.
Even some new shoes or a clutch bag.
Use my card it’s black with private banking so there’s no limit ( but don’t be buying a new car lol).
In an accompanying video clip he could also be heard saying:
Hey baby, this is for you. Looking forward to Thursday girl.
Westwood quickly realised his mistake when he discovered that 186 people had taken screen-grabs of his limitless card details.
He then went to social media posting on Instagram a photo of his credit cards with the caption:
So f***** up! Accidentally Snapchat my credit cards. Had 186 screen grabs!
Now I’m in Bermuda with no credit cards.
Guess I got a lot of 419 Boys on my snap. #scammers#Imsneakingoutofthehotelonmonday
And if his day couldn’t get any worse, Westwood’s followers made sure to mock him for his mistake.
One asked ‘how do you accidentally do that’ whilst another added ‘dumbest thing I’ve heard all day.’
I don’t think Westwood will be snapchatting again for a while now.
