We’ve had glitter beards and bizarrely glittery butts, but it now seems like glitter tits is the thing of the future and the overall look is strangely hypnotic.
It seems this bewildering new trend was put into motion at Coachella fest and now it’s set to take over the summer festival circuit, according to Elle magazine.
Clearly dipping your hipster beard in a tub of glitter (or even your bum if that’s your thing) is not enough these days and now people have taken to covering their bare chests in the sparkly stuff.
I mean as far as weird trends go, this one is not too bad, as many of these glitter-boob creations actually look like a work of art.
Some people have even decided to go one step further than the glitter tit and instead opted for the glitter leotard or the ‘glitter bod.’
This essentially involves covering your entire body in glitter and making it look like you’re in fact wearing a super shiny catsuit…
The leotard version, is exactly what it says on the tin and involves, well, creating a leotard out of glitter so it looks like you’re wearing a glittery top, which goes all the way down to the crotch.
Whatever ‘style’ you go for, it’s always going to be an unconventional outfit choice, that’s for sure…
Now don’t get me wrong, even though it’s pretty strange, the finished product does look fab… But call me old fashioned and I’m just putting it out there, but what’s wrong with clothes?
I’d hate to have to wash it off – that’s all I’m going to say on the matter…
