Nearly six years after the saga ended, Kristen Stewart, who breathlessly choked her way through Bella Swan’s leading role, reunited with her onscreen ‘daughter’ at the Chanel Beauty House in Los Angeles on Wednesday.
Mackenzie Foy, who played the unfortunately named Renesmee – the vampire human hybrid daughter of Bella and Edward Cullen – was just 10 at the time.
Things got a little weird when the film plot line saw her mother’s warewolf best mate, Jacob (played by Taylor Lautner) ‘imprint’ on the fictional youngster.
Summit EntertainmentThe films were released in 2011 and 2012 respectively (and shot in 2010 and 2011), back when Foy was only 10 years old.
Now she’s 17 and still a fangirl’s dream.
Foy is, interestingly, now the age Stewart was when she started filming for the Twilight saga. Foy is a decade younger than her on-screen mom, who is now 27.

Stewart attended the party alongside her partner, Stella Maxwell, a model who has starred in The Love Advent calendar and the prestigious Victoria’s Secret catwalk.
Kristen had previously dated her on screen Twilight love interest, British-born Robert Pattinson, who starred in the Harry Potter franchise as the doomed but charming Cedric Diggory.

That’s some lucrative blood-letting right there.
Meanwhile, Foy is set to play Clara opposite the 32-year-old Oscar nominee Kiera Knightley in Lasse Hallström’s The Nutcracker and the Four Realms, which hits UK theatres October 26 and US theatres November 2.
