GettyAll Michelle Obama had to do was go for a casual stroll with her hair in it’s natural form and the internet has gone into a frenzy.
She may not have realised it, but Michelle apparently just granted her fans a huge wish, which bizarrely involved the way she did her hair.
The former first lady did a lot of great things while she was in the Whitehouse alongside her husband and former president Barack, including raising awareness for poverty and healthy eating.
Flikr/DFIDAlthough she became a major fashion icon, it was rare her hair was thrown into speculation, but now it seems she’s gone back to her natural roots and people can’t cope.
Twitter user meagnacarta, posted a snap of Michelle rocking the natural look and it seems to have caused a real stir.
She captioned it:

Clearly a hell of a lot of people feel the same, as the pic has earned itself over 30,000 retweets and 90k likes, meaning a lot of people out there were keen to see Michelle’s hair in its natural state.

Other people questioned why she didn’t embrace the natural look while she was in office, which is a very valid point.

I sincerely hope the reason why Michelle didn’t embrace her natural locks wasn’t because of needing to seem ‘professional/appropriate,’ but sadly that is entirely plausible.
It would be terrible to think Michelle had to conceal the way her hair naturally fell in a bid to ‘look the part’ politically, but I hope that wasn’t the case.
GettyAnyway, Michelle is no longer the first lady and instead she’s having the time of her life, relaxing on beaches with Barack and signing book deals.
At the very least it’s fantastic that the former first lady now feels free and confident enough to be entirely herself.

Michelle Obama is a fashion icon, she sets the bar high and no way is she bowing down or conforming to anyone.
