Amazon/BluesterFemale shoppers have expressed discontent with an embroidered bralet sold on Amazon by a seller who apparently doesn’t understand boobs.
In broken English, the product page says the bralet will ‘relflect your sexy and charming [sic]’ and warns customers that it comes in ‘Asian size’ and either black or white acrylic and lace.
Modelled by a computer-generated woman – probably not a great sign that the fit will be honed to the female form – the seller claims the bralet comes in four sizes: S, M, L, XL.
Amazon/BluesterBut one woman, writing on a Facebook group called Girlsmouth, complained the sizing is all wrong.
She wrote:
Thought I’d give you all a laugh this evening. So I saw the post from the girl who ordered this gorgeous bralette for bargain price… so I thought fuck it I will spend £4 on my self, don’t normally!
It turned up today! Was so excited!!! Until I tried it on. I brought the XL!!!! Fuck you internet!
One wrote: “Fucking ridiculous I couldn’t even breathe in the white!”
Another added: “Mine hurts to wear it’s so tight.”
Girlsmouth/FacebookThe acrylic and lace number is being sold by Bluester for the meagre sum of 20p (£3 postage and packaging not included, obviously, that’s how they get ya).
The listing states:
NOTE: This is Asian Size and would have ONE/ TWO size smaller, please compare the detail sizes with yours before you buy. Use similar clothing to compare with the size.
It also gives exact measurements for each size. This story is nothing if not a lesson in the minefield of online shopping and to check the small print.
