There is one drink and one drink only capable of splashing you with all the holiday vibes: the mighty, the magnificent Vodka Fanta Lemon.
As refreshing as a dunk in a sunlit pool and an all round perfect beach party beverage, it’s almost impossible to imagine how this fizzy masterpiece could be improved.
Until now…
The Highlander Scottish Pub in Ibiza proclaims to be the ‘biggest and best bar in west end Ibiza,’ bringing a taste of Scotland to the iconic party island. And it certainly looks like they’ve got the right idea.
The San Antonio bar is now serving up a frozen cocktail which combines Fanta Lemon with Grey Goose vodka in a deliciously grown-up version of your favourite childhood slushie. Perfect fuel for dancing until the sun rises.
Check out how to make your own delicious frozen cocktails below:
Partygoers are obviously thrilled by this icy innovation, commenting with appreciation on The Highlander’s Instagram page. Some have described it as ‘tremendous’ while others have simply remarked ‘nom nom’.
One person slathered:
Oh my word I need one of these right now.
Another drooled:
Aw I can taste it Monday can’t come quick enough.
Daytime manager at The Highlander, Ellie, told UNILAD:
We started what we call ‘Frozen Fridays’ in the middle of last summer, so every week we think off a new slush that will get everyone’s attention and something they already know and love, whether it be a sweet inspired one or a drink combo one.
She added:
Friday of last week I remembered that everyone has been sharing things about how we all love Fanta lemon in the sun, and realised we hadn’t yet tried this simple yet effective frozen drink. So we gave it a go and the response has been great.
And if you aren’t jetting off to warmer climes this summer, there is no need to despair. Excellent pubs all across the UK are firing up their slushie machines this season, as the craze for frozen booze grips the nation.
The Frog and Orange in Canterbury, Kent, have clocked on to the fact Strongbow Dark Fruit is at its finest in slushie form.

Louise Pilcher, Owner of The Frog and Orange, told UNILAD how their wide range of frozen cocktails – which includes cloudy lemonade and rum punch – have already gone down a treat with pub goers:
The slushies have been so popular and we’ve had to keep up with topping the machine up, it’s been a great weekend to launch this as a new product with the beautiful weather.
We’ve also started branching out into other frozen cocktails and launched a tropical rum punch which also completely sold out. We’ve made a new one with cloudy lemon which has gone down well with vodka, gin or rum!
And the Blackhorse in Chester-le-Street, County Durham, have cottoned on to the delectable summery delight of booze and crushed ice. Look at that…

And if you fancy staying away from the pubs and clubs this weekend, then there is still the potential to make like Elsa and enjoy some frozen cocktails on your very own patio.
For those craving a refreshing Kopparberg, they’re in luck. Discount miracle maker B&M Bargains are selling frozen Kopparberg pouches for just £1.49 a pop. Fantastic news if, like me, you’re counting the pennies until payday.
These pouches come in three delicious flavours: strawberry and lime, elderflower and lime, and mixed fruit. If you consider the cost of a pint of the good stuff, this really is a bargain and completely ideal for what should be a very pleasant bank holiday weekend.
The number one summer drink ❤️ don’t @ me https://t.co/siApR6t7Mr
