Finally the trailer for the hotly anticipated Avengers: Endgame has been released and oh boy, does it look good!
Thankfully Marvel Studios haven’t revealed much with the trailer so we still have no idea what to expect from the fourth Avengers film.
However, there are many great moments which will tease fans including our first look at Hawkeye as Ronin, Scott Lang aka Ant-Man ringing the doorbell and a fresh clean-shaven Captain America looking forlorn.
Did Thanos’ snap erase his beard from the world or did the tragedy of losing his friends lead him to shave? The world needs to know.

The intense trailer opens with a shot of Tony Stark’s Iron Man helmet lying on the floor of a spaceship looking lost and battered.
In an emotional moment which caused me to well up, a tired Tony taps the helmet asking ‘is this thing on’ before recording a message to send to his fiancee Pepper Potts back on Earth.
Clearly distraught, Tony says goodbye to his love:
Dear Miss Potts, if you find this recording don’t feel bad about this, part of the journey is the end. Just for the record being adrift in space with zero promise of rescue is more fun than it sounds.
Food and water ran out four days ago, oxygen will run out tomorrow morning and I mean it, when I drift off I will dream about you, it’s always you.
The moment becomes even more heartbreaking when Tony turns the helmet off leaving us all wondering whether this is the end for the hero?
While some fans think this scene will happen early on in the film as Avengers: Infinity War left Tony on Thanos’ destroyed homeworld Titan, this moment could actually be from the end of Endgame revealing the hero’s ultimate fate.
Marvel Studios love to play with our emotions so we really have no idea what this scene means and how it will play out but we do know to expect the unexpected.
So while many of you may believe Tony will be safe and will reunite with Pepper in an emotional embrace despite what we see in the footage, his goodbye message from the trailer could also be him waving farewell to fans.
Of course the biggest clue hinting to this is the message to Pepper but we also glimpse Nebula, who was left on Titan with Tony, resting her hand on his shoulder before dropping it off.
Maybe she is saying goodbye to him too. Tony is seen to be seemingly floating in space by himself leaving us also questioning where is Nebula?
Avengers: Endgame will also bring to an end Phase Four of the Marvel Cinematic Universe so it would make sense to kill off some original characters, including Robert Downey Jr’s Tony Stark who has long be rumoured to make his exit in this film.
We didn’t know though ‘making his exit’ may mean his death.
Whatever the outcome may be, from what we see in the trailer the future doesn’t look bright for Tony.
Maybe he goes off on a solo mission to try and find a solution and dies trying? Maybe he attempts to return to Earth and Pepper but finds himself lost in space instead?
Could Nebula be dead leaving Tony alone or has she abandoned him?
While it’s possible this scene is towards the end of the film, which would kill off Tony, I don’t think Marvel will just leave him to die lost in space.
Tony may die but he won’t go out without a fight, so expect to see him giving it his all in the battle against Thanos.
