A woman who lost her right arm in an moped accident created the best and wittiest Halloween costume.
Lauren previously went viral for posting the most hilarious Tinder bio taking the piss out of her own arm, or lack there of, melting the hearts of many.
Now, in the Halloween spirit, she has used makeup to make her arm stump look like a gory, bloodied limb that has been ripped off.
Speaking to UNILAD, Lauren said:
I bought like this $4 effects makeup kit and some gauze and just threw it on last night.
I walked through my living room last night with it on and my roommate had a friend over and they both almost had a heart attack.
People seem to be a fan of the Halloween costume.
This is the first year I’ve done anything cool since losing an arm.
I guess it was practice i was just trying it out. I’m going to do it on Halloween but I’m going to use better makeup.
Plenty of people on Twitter said she had ‘won Halloween’ and that she was a ‘genius’ for coming up with the idea.
The 21-year-old from San Diego doesn’t work but likes ‘going out’, ‘having fun’, and ‘going on adventures’ like hiking, going to the beach, and visiting friends in LA.

Posting on the dating app, Lauren said her occupation was an ‘arms dealer’ while saying she was ‘hands down the best catch on Tinder’.
The cherry on top was at the end when she said her personality was 20/10, her face was 10/10, and ‘arms ‘1/2’.
Overnight the screenshot of her bio went viral, with people praising her spirit.
Her Instagram and Twitter are also full of hilarious self-deprecation.

I was in the ocean and this lil kid’s like ‘what happened to ur arm’ and I told him it was a shark and he ran out and has yet to get back in.

Since her Tinder bio went viral, Lauren said that things ‘didn’t change that much people recognise me a lot though from my Twitter when I go out’.
Speaking to Buzzfeed News, Lauren said:
I was going pretty fast on a moped and lost control of it, and I hit the median in the road.
I flew off and hit a sign and it sliced my arm off. I stayed conscious the whole time.
For a while, I wasn’t okay with the jokes. But then I started telling the jokes, and it’s kind of helped.
Lauren is trying to raise $50k for a prosthetic arm, so you can donate on her GoFundMe page.
Initially Lauren was trying to raise $20k but she posted an update saying she ‘called an organization to set up a private payment plan for a myoelectric arm and it is A LOT more than I had thought. I didn’t research well enough. It’s a 50k down payment and then they set up a plan for 50k more’.
You’ve got to respect someone who can laugh at themselves like that, especially when she’s gone through something so difficult.
