UNILADThey say women’s handbags are filled with everything you could ever need, but this Scottish lass took it another level, housing a rubber duck, among other miscellaneous items, in hers.
The duck, along with some lollipops and chocolate, surfaced when she met her boyfriend in a nightclub in Paisley, Scotland.
For her birthday, he recreated their strange moment when she handed him a rubber duck and lollipop, in the form of a cake.
UNILADSpeaking to UNILAD, Louise said:
He came up to me in a club in Paisley a few weeks before asking if I wanted a drink but I declined, after that I never caught his name but wanted to know it, a few weeks I was in somewhere called Checkmate and I spotted him again.
I called him over to sit with me to introduce myself and when he asked me up to dance I offered him a rubber duck and a Chuppa Chup that I had in my bag from being in a cocktail bar the night before.
Ever since, we’ve had an ongoing joke about how I’ve always had anything that is ever needed in my bag, whether that being Buenos or anything else you can really think of.
We’ve been going out for about four months and I didn’t expect it to get the reaction it did on Twitter, I just wanted to share how thoughtful he was that he remembered our first proper night.
As if the outside of the cake wasn’t cool enough, the inside of the cake had hungry hippos inside.
What a thoughtful guy.
