Guy Returns Home To Find His Dog On The Roof Waiting To Greet Him

One of my favourite parts of any day is returning home to my kitten who I know will be at the door ready for cuddles, delighted to see me back.

However, sadly I know, since he is a cat, as he grows older he will become less interested in welcoming me home and more bothered about snoozing.

This, of course, isn’t typically the case with dogs who continue to welcome their owners home with excited barks and wagging tails throughout their lives.

Murray, a six-year-old Vizsla, however doesn’t just run to owner A J Allee when he returns home.

Instead he climbs up to the highest point of Allee’s house, standing proud on top of the roof welcoming his beloved owner home.

Check out Murray in his favourite spot here:

Speaking exclusively to UNILAD, Allee explained how he was initially scared the first time Murray did this a year ago.

He said:

Murray has so much energy. He loves to please and loves his owners, always sticking by your side.

To reach the top he climbs the stairs at the back of the house then leaps six feet to get to the first level roof.

He then leaps again to get to the second level roof.

The first time he did it I was scared and we tried to keep him from doing it but it turned out that the breed is known for climbing on things.

While the breed may be known for ‘climbing on things’, Allee adds he hasn’t heard of other dogs doing this and to be honest nor have we!

It is no wonder then the neighbours have been left ‘amused and shocked’ by Murray’s abilities!

A dog really is man’s best friend with one good boy even sleeping at his owner’s grave for 11 years until his death.

Devoted Alsatian, Capitan, from Argentina, passed away in February this year at the estimated age of 15.

For the past 11 years, he has been sleeping on his master’s grave every single night completely grief-stricken.

Capitan’s beloved owner, Miguel Guzman, originally bought the devoted pet as a gift for his 13-year-old son Damian.

After Miguel passed away in 2006, Capitan completely vanished leaving his family wondering whether he had been killed or found another home.

Visiting Miguel’s grave in 2007, they were shocked to see Capitan watching it protectively.

Neighbours and cemetery staff then revealed Capitan slept by Miguel’s grave every single night without fail.

Most mysteriously, Capitan never accompanied the family to the grave before his disappearance; it’s still unclear how he managed to discover his master’s resting place.

Although the family did attempt to bring him home after they found him, Capitan would always run back to the cemetery being completely devoted.

Well cared for by neighbours, the family and cemetery staff, Capitan began showing issues with his sight and mobility last year before passing away.

He is dearly missed by many.
