One guy is so convinced England will win The World Cup this year he got ‘it’s coming home’ tattooed on his bum.

Despite losing last night’s match to Belgium, England’s stunning 6-1 win against Panama and beating Tunisia 2-1 means they have made it through the group stage of the 2018 World Cup.

The team’s victories means the nation more than ever believes football really will come home this year with England winning their second World Cup trophy.

As the nation remains hopeful and optimistic, it is hard not to get caught up as people take to the pubs singing ‘it’s coming home’ in unison.

Despite being on holiday in Ayia Napa, 21-year-old Zak Holman from Kent has been following all the action and is sure England will win the tournament this year.

In fact he is so convinced he got ‘it’s coming home’ tattooed on his right butt cheek and has absolutely no regrets about doing so.

And if you don’t believe me, here is the evidence:

Speaking exclusively to UNILAD, Zak explained how his mate even offered to pay for the tattoo not believing he would go through with it.

Zak said:

So we were in Ayia Napa last week and one of my friends said they’d pay for me to get it done. After winning our first game we all knew it was coming home so thought might as well.

So on our second night out we were absolutely smashed and got it done on our way back to the hotel. It only cost €25 so a bit of a bargain if you ask me!

My mate was shocked as they didn’t actually believe me when I said I had got it done.

I’ve got no regrets whatsoever. I think it’s quality!

While his friends all loved Zak’s tattoo, his mum was less impressed although he admits ‘she got over it pretty quick’.

When UNILAD asked Zak whether he will be embarrassed if, well, football doesn’t come home, he remained positive.

He concluded:

Of course England are going to win. We’ve got a very young team and Gareth Southgate seems to be doing a very good job with them.

If it don’t come this year, we’ve always got the Euro’s in two years time and another World Cup in four years and I’m sure the tattoo will still be there then.

His optimism really is admirable!

Proud of his new ink, Zak even shared an image of it on Twitter:

Receiving over 243 likes so far, it appears many others are also hopeful football will come home.

Maybe this year is indeed England’s year!
