The Big Mac Challenge has been doing the rounds on the internet over the last couple of days, and people are thinking it sounds easy.
For those of you that don’t know, The Big Mac Challenge is basically a task of eating four large McDonald’s Big Mac meals with milkshakes.
It can only be for one person, and they have to consume the four burgers, four large fries and four milkshakes within one solitary hour.
To prove the contestant isn’t just a big fraud, they then have to keep the food down for another 30 minutes without being sick.
Sure, sounds easy, and I’m sure many of you will be thinking ‘I did that when I was hungover that time’.
Well, to put it to the test, we got one guy to have a go at the challenge, you know – for journalism.
Our intrepid investigative journalist had just one hour to eat the whole of this mountain of food.
Here’s his effort:

As you can see in the video, about 45 minutes in, Kieron taps out and is sick straight into a conveniently placed bag.
Things started off well, he ate the first burger in under two minutes, and had the second one down within five.
But things quickly turned sour and Kieron suffered from what he described as ‘dry mouth’.
Milkshakes weren’t helping matters and by the time the colossal amount of food caught up with him, it was too late, and he had to tap out.
It was an exciting time in the office, everybody thought he would do it, but it definitely doesn’t seem as easy as it looks.
He said:
Would I recommend it to anyone? Absolutely not. It’s the milkshakes that get you. It’s put me off food and I don’t think I’ll eat a Big Mac again.
If you think you can eat all that food, and hold it down for 30 minutes, then you’d be in with the chance of winning £100 from McDonald’s.
Good luck, rather you than me!
