Guy’s Uber Driver Was 15 Minutes Late… His Dash Reveals Why

A guy’s Uber driver was 15 minutes late because, as his dashboard revealed, he was rather busy watching porn.

27-year-old Connor from Toronto, Canada, ordered an Uber earlier this month at the local airport.

For those unfamiliar with Uber, you can track where your taxi is on the app on your phone and so Connor could clearly see his driver was four minutes away.

However, the driver didn’t move from his spot in a nearby car park for 10 minutes which left Connor rather confused.

Everything became clear though when Connor got into the car as the driver had forgotten to disconnect his phone from the vehicle’s Bluetooth meaning the screen on the dashboard showed he had been watching porn.

A video entitled ‘Mother and Daughter’ on the website PornHub to be exact.

Speaking exclusively to UNILAD, Connor explained how he tried to hide his laughter.

He said:

I ordered the Uber and it said it was four minutes away. I could see on the map that he was at an airport satellite parking lot a short distance away, likely waiting for a fare. But he didn’t move for like 10 minutes and stayed in the parking lot.

I was tempted to cancel it and order another one or complain to the Uber employees that were standing around but the app said I’d be charged a fee because he was already en route and I didn’t want to deal with that bullsh*t so I waited and finally he showed up.

Thankfully when he arrived I didn’t shake his hand!

The second I got in his car I saw what was on his dashboard and killed myself laughing, pretending to be laughing at my phone. Kinda f*cked up taste, but really funny nonetheless.

Connor continued:

He had clearly forgot that his phone was connected to his car Bluetooth and it gave me a pretty good clue what took him so long… he was also shamelessly playing it through his sweet, sweet, mint condition six speaker Toyota Camry audio system.

The sound was off when he picked me up but it still showed what was last playing for the duration of my drive.

Immediately I sent an SOS to my dudes group chat and asking how I can make this even more funny. There were a lot of good ideas but because he was going to get out of the car to get my suitcase I couldn’t really just drop a funny line and peace out…

But Connor couldn’t just leave without doing something and so he told the driver ‘by the way your playlist is still running on your car dashboard, you know, music’ while he unloaded the bags.

The driver ‘flinched’ at Connor’s statement, thanked him and then got back into the car.

Luckily for him the dashboard incident didn’t affect the rating Connor gave him on the app – ‘four fingers and one thumb’.
