GettyMacaulay Culkin made a rare social media appearance and revealed a childhood memory of Michael Jackson.
The 37-year-old Home Alone star answered hundreds of questions on a Reddit AMA (Ask Me Anything).
Culkin was promoting his new weekly podcast called Bunny Ears, as well as his website Bunnyears.com which launches properly in March.

Describing the new podcast and website, Macaulay said on Reddit:
The podcast is a weekly show where me and my friend Matt talk about stuff and things and stuff. Sometimes with a guest (Kevin Smith being our first, coming later this week!)
The website will be a collection of articles, videos and more; its is a online lifestyle magazine where I hope to shine a light on some of the things that influence my life.
Plus- everyone else has one. Why not me?
DRYVRSIn return for the publicity over Reddit, Macaulay answered plenty of random questions, including one about his relationship with Michael Jackson.
The child star and Michael Jackson famously spent a lot of time together, which the media and public were concerned about, but Culkin has always said ‘it was a legitimate friendship’ and they were best friends for a long time.
One Reddit user asked Macaulay what his favourite memory of Michael Jackson was.
Macaulay responded:
When I almost crashed my golfcart into his and he called me ‘Applehead’.
PAReddit users replied saying the memory was very ‘endearing’, while others claimed Michael really hated apples.
Aside from revealing his favourite memory with the late MJ, Macaulay addressed his drug use, saying:
Yes, I consumed and imbibed in drugs in my life. Never as bad as people said. It’s not really a thing in my life right now. I’m an adult.
I like to drink.

Culkin confessed:
I don’t have a biggest regret but most of my regrets involve women.
When he was asked what his flaws were, obviously it got weird and he responded with just:
I own too many mannequins. Check out my podcast.
20th Century FoxMoving on from the mannequins, Macaulay had many funny responses to his fans, including when he was asked what his favourite ride at Disneyland was.
He replied:
The cigarette smoking area by the Haunted Mansion.
In terms of future acting, Macaulay stated theatre is his favourite form of acting, however he’s ‘not really perusing [sic] anything at the moment. Not looking for any gigs’.
Aside from this, we discovered the former actor’s favourite pizza is: ‘always Joe’s Pizza (in NYC), and not to be all normal about it, but I do like a proper plain. That’s how you can judge a place. I’ve been with lots of vegetarians so I can get with that, but I wouldn’t kick a pepperoni and sausage out of bed.’
iTunesMacaulay also revealed he’s recently watched Mind Hunters on Netflix, his favourite ice cream flavour is pistachio and he listens to Talking Heads and Beirut.
There are so many layers to Macaulay, we’ll definitely be tuning into Bunny Ears.
