For those who don’t know xXx tells the story of Xander Cage (Vin Diesel) an extreme sportsman who’s forced to become a secret agent in return for wiping his criminal record clean.
Of course you can’t make a spy film without some intense action but when you combine it with the madness of an adrenaline junkie like Xander Cage you’re in for some seriously spectacular stunts.
Now Xander’s back in xXx: The Return of Xander Cage we think it’s the perfect time to reminisce about all our favourite stunts in the xXx series.
Corvette Bridge Jump
The stunt that literally jump starts the series has Xander Cage leap into action when he drives senator Dick Hotchkiss’ kick-ass red corvette over a ramp and off the side of a bridge while police chase him.
Sound exciting enough for you? Well it gets better.
No self respecting spy’s ever jumped off a cliff without a back up plan and Xander’s no different, managing to escape the plummeting car using a parachute to float to freedom.
It’s the first breathtaking stunt of the series and the one that attracts the attention of Sam Jackson’s NSA agent Augustus Gibbons.
Jet skiing On A Motorbike
Xander Cage is a man who never takes the easy option, and in the latest teaser for upcoming action extravaganza xXx: The Return of Xander Cage we see out eponymous hero perform one of his most insane stunts to date.
Rather than use a conventional jet ski our extreme hero opts to ‘ski’ a motorbike over the ocean waves like a bizarre Atlantean biker from hell!
And you thought surfing was hard!
Colombian Helicopter Chase
After being dropped off in Colombia by the NSA Xander Cage quickly found himself being held hostage by the notorious drug lord El Jefe.
Unfortunately for El Jefe it takes more than steel chains to hold the mighty Xander Cage hostage and he quickly escapes just as the Colombian army launch a full scale military invasion of the cartel’s compound.
To escape the carnage Xander’s forced to flee on the back of a dirt bike while being chased by an army helicopter in what has to be one of the exciting chase scenes in the franchise.
Complete with a 360 degree spinning jump over a barbed wire fence, this is one chase that needs to be seen to be believed.
Skiing Through The Jungle
Why spend hours treking through the sweaty jungle when you can take a short cut, namely ski through the trees.
While it may sound insane to anyone with an ounce of common sense it’s just another day for Xander cage who loves things that go fast and let him do stupid things!
Seriously if you thought moguls were tough, you need to check out Xander’s Tarzan like moves as he duck, weaves and jumps through the jungle!
Avalanche Chase
If you thought outrunning an attack helicopter was impressive then you don’t know Xander Cage.
Not content with simply outrunning his enemies Xander’s managed to outrun whole forces of nature like a roaring avalanche he deliberately creates to destroy an Anarchy 99 outpost.
In what has to be one of the most visually impressive stunts in the series Xander not only wipes out his enemies but looks like a total badass while doing it!

Falling Out Of An Exploding Plane
Speaking of defying mother nature, it seems that in the newest xXx film Xander will have a tussle with his old enemy gravity, diving out of a plane as it explodes around him.
We’ve no doubt Cage’ll defy the odds yet again but let’s be honest it’s Xander he’s always got a plan for even the most unlikely of events!
Of course with the life Xander leads you’d think he’d be used to falling out of the sky by now.
