The best part of going to the cinema, many times over the motion picture, was the Tango ice blast.
Did you want just blue? Just pink? An amalgamation of both heavily dyed and e-number saturated ice?
The options are tantalising and now, the innovative Scots have taken the not-so-humble Tango Ice Blast and created a sorbet.
Is it ok to walk into a cinema buy a tango ice blast and leave or is it like only sound to get cinema food if ur watching a film ?

So, if when you were slurping the glorified slush you thought it could only be improved if it were a bit more solid and ‘scoopable’ (not a word), then your mind has been read by Crollas Gelateria.
Speaking to UNILAD, owner of the gelataria chain Peter Crollas said:
We went down for a meeting with the team and were getting ideas together for something that would be popular and go viral.
We already sold flavours of the Tango Ice Blast so we thought ‘why don’t we make a sorbet out of that’.
It’s been going down really well and we only trialled it as a gimmick back in October, but it’s been really popular on social media.
We do other stuff like gin and tonic sorbet and were thinking of doing like a frozen Fanta sorbet.
We’re still perfecting the recipe for the Tango Ice Blast, but I think it’s so popular because it’s quite nostalgic.
Our Tango Ice Blast sorbet is now available in Aberdeen!! ???Will be available in High Wycombe, Wishaw, Llandudno and Glasgow very soon! pic.twitter.com/3a1qcBdps2

The dessert parlour is an ‘award winning family company that has been producing traditional Italian Gelato in Glasgow for over a hundred and twenty years’.
The product has been picking up a lot of traction on social media, with many people saying their dreams have been answered.

If you go to the cinema and don't order a tango ice blast, did you even go to cinema?

If you’d like to have a try, the sorbet is available in Edinburgh, Aberdeen, Glasgow and High Wycombe Gelataria’s.
Peter also told us he might have more nostalgic desserts in the pipeline, so keep and eye out for more.
