Red Hot, the company behind the calendar, were previously searching for red-headed models and the finished product is finally here, in time for Christmas too.

And UNILAD have been given an exclusive first look at the Red Hot British Boys calendar.

Sales of the calendar will also raise money for the Ben Cohen STANDUP Foundation – a charity helping to connect communities and support those working to eradicate bullying, especially in the LGBTQ+ community – so it’s for a great cause.

Art director, Elliott James Frieze said:

At Red Hot we want people to feel proud of what makes them different.

So, to celebrate the launch of the Red Hot British Boys 2018 calendar, we have teamed up with Chappy, the app that aims to challenge the perception of gay dating.

And if staring at these men on a calendar isn’t enough – they’re holding the Chappy presents Red Hot British Boys launch party where you can actually meet the guys.

Red Hot say they’ve ‘pulled out all the stops’ to make this one of their biggest launch parties.

Their house party has a limited number of public tickets, with a VIP option for those who wish to upgrade their experience and attend the special Red Hot dinner in the world famous L’Escargot restaurant before the main party starts at 9pm.

If you bring along your calendar, you can get it signed by the models and photographer Thomas Knights.

Chappy co-founder, Jack Rogers, said:

We’re incredibly proud to be sponsors of Red Hot British Boys, as a company dedicated to removing the stigma from gay dating we’re very happy to work with a brand successfully changing the perception of ginger men and women everywhere.

Red Hot have been spreading awareness for years, including awareness of bullying of people with ginger hair.

We previously wrote about their attempts to embrace the ginger and encourage people not to bully their ginger mates.

In answer to why Thomas thinks the red head should be celebrated, he said:

In the UK and throughout the world, being ginger comes with many stigmas attached. Many are bullied at school and for some, even later in life.

As far as I can see, no one has focused (or noticed) the huge, polarised gap between the way our society perceives red headed women (often the ultimate woman – think Jessica Rabbit) and red headed males (often emasculated and de-sexualised in film and TV – no Hollywood heroes, heartthrobs – few leading men).

So if you want to get your hands on the calendar as a cheeky present to yourself, or if you know somebody who’d like one – you can buy it here – and for more information, visit the Red Hot Exhibition Facebook page.
