Mate, Greggs is releasing an advent calendar.
Described as the ‘ultimate Christmas gift for every Greggs fan’, the novelty calendar is filled with tokens for a host of baked goods.
These vouchers can be then taken into a branch and exchanged for something off the varied menu.
It’s like McDonald’s Monopoly, but nothing to do with board games, or burgers.
A sausage roll, a festive bake, flavoured latte… whatever tickles your festive fancy, it’s up for grabs.
A Greggs spokesperson said:
Novelty advent calendars have been around for years, so we thought it was time to take the concept up a notch.
Fans won’t be disappointed by what’s behind the doors – there’s a delicious Greggs gift to enjoy every day of the December advent season, from sausage rolls to Christmas sandwiches and of course our infamous Festive Bake.
It’s the perfect Christmas gift for every Greggs fan.
The calendars go on sale on Monday November 20 in a variety of Greggs across the UK.
They may cost £24 but contain around £35-£60 worth of vouchers, so consider it a worthy investment.
The cover image shows Santa Claus, a Festive Bake and the words ‘Merry Greggsmas’.

Greggs recently rolled out their Christmas menu, which pretty much means it’s acceptable to embrace Christmas now good and proper.
Expect all the standards, from the Christmas lunch toastie – made with sage, onion, turkey, cranberry relish, sweetcure bacon, Edam, mature cheese and best of all, love – all the way to the classic Festive Bake.
Some items have made a welcome return following brief absences.
The Christmas Sandwich for example will be back on the menu after not appearing on the 2016 edition.
Have a gander at these and see if you don’t drool snowflakes.
Festive Bake
The one and only, and for just £1.50!
Turkey, Bacon and Cranberry Roll
Again, £1.50. It’s turkey in a a pastry roll! A sausage roll but stripped of the sausage and filled with bacon and turkey. Don’t be a Scrooge.
Christmas Sandwich
£3.00. But come on, ’tis the season and all that.
Christmas Lunch Soup
Okay this is a total game changer. Greggs soup? Serve this at my funeral.
Sweet Mince Pies
For all you traditionalists out there. Only 50p!
If you truly don’t like Christmas though, and all the hustle and bustle, but still have a huge appetite for Greggs, you can order their food to your house via UberEATS.
If you are within a mile of a participating Greggs shop then you are in luck, although it will cost you £2.50 per order, no minimum spend is required.
Although there are no immediate plans to expand the UberEATS service, if it’s popular, and we think it will be, Greggs will consider rolling it out to other locations.
