Power is coming back, and if you haven’t yet given it a go, it’s worth a watch.

50 Cent is an executive producer for Power, in which he also stars as the powerful anti-hero Kanan Stark.

Tense, exciting and full of extremely complicated love triangles, Power has gained widespread critical approval over the course of its five seasons. Reviewers have praised the atmospheric portrayal of the New York criminal underground, as well as the well written characters.

The sixth and final season is coming in August, not too long after the conclusion of a little known indie show by the name of Game of Thrones. You may have heard of it…

Like many people, 50 Cent appears to have gotten a little tired of hearing all TV discussions revolve around the conclusion of Game of Thrones.

Taking to Instagram, 50 Cent showed Power some love, declaring it to be superior to the show which is currently dominating office conversations everywhere:

Power Season 6 is gonna blow you away, GAME OF THRONES ain’t got SH*T ON ME. shoe program n*gga #lecheminduroi #bransoncognac

Now, as I have already said, Power is an excellent show but comparing its ending to the biggest event in modern television history is a pretty bold claim. Unsurprisingly, Game of Thrones fans were soon hitting back.

One person commented:

Unless you come up with some dragons and a Night King I doubt it.

Another retorted:

Ain’t nothing f*ckin with game of thrones.

The heated debate escalated to the point where somebody actually photoshopped 50 Cent’s face onto the character of Tyrion. And Fiddy was not amused.

The In Da Club rapper shared the doctored image on his Instagram, along with a strongly worded message to Game of Thrones fans:

Power returns for the final time on August 25.
