Just when you thought the world was going downhill, Primark go and announce a flagship store is launching a fully-themed Friends Central Perk cafe in partnership with Warner Bros.

On June 12 this year you’ll be able to not only shop away until your heart’s content, but fully immerse yourself into the Friends experience afterwards.

The Central Perk Cafe is launching in celebration of the hit TV show’s 25th anniversary. 25 whole damn years. What age does that make Ross’ son, Ben Gellar, you ask? 24. There are no words.

The cafe will be exclusive to Primark and is the very first of its kind to open up on the UK high street, making it a must-see. Well, if you’re into Friends that is.

The clothing giant and Warner Bros. don’t seem to be scrimping on the experience either, as it’s going to feature a fully-fledged New York-inspired menu, with exclusive branded products. Don’t fret, the famous sofa will also be there for you to take a picture for the ‘Gram. What’s the point in going somewhere spenny if you can’t flex, amirite? I’m right.

Let’s hold up a hot second though, because this is 2019 after all and we care the environment (let’s not mention that we should have cared earlier, we’re all aware). How are they making the cafe environmentally friendly?

Easy, Manchester’s very own Central Perk will be using compostable cups and ethically sourced coffee beans as part of the store’s Primark Cares initiative. We’re here for it.

Primark is known for its themed clothing ranges too, from Harry Potter to Friends, so when you’re done taking selfies, and telling all your friends how ‘you’re SO Rachel’, you can continue the experience in the store’s Friends shopping area. It features everything from clothing to mugs. (Window shopping is, obvs, also fully acceptable.)

According to Metro, Primark’s Director of New Business Development, Tim Kelly said:

We are hugely excited to be bringing the first branded Central Perk Café in fashion retail in the UK to the British high street.

Customers can relax and have fun there whilst also enjoying our amazing fashion at amazing prices in our Manchester store.

You know where we’ll be in two weeks.

*Gets ready to battle the crowds*
